An idea
When I was younger, I used to love going through my parents old photos and year books. I always wished I knew my parents as children, and going through pictures was the only way I could even see into the past. One day recently, I was thinking of the children I haven’t had yet (I am so anxious to be ready to be a mom), and I thought, how cool would it be to make videos of my husband and I talking to our children, giving advice, whatever. Say for example, we (my husband and I) make a mistake, or experience something difficult. We would make a video, explaining our experience and what we learned. Or say I am reading a book, and there is a really great sentence in their, or I heard a new song that had a great lyric, poetry, whatever I feel like sharing. Make a video of it. Vacations, parties, whatever. Film life with our children once they’re born. Continuing to film what lessons we learned about raising them, etc. And by the time they are old enough to watch the movie and understand it, my husband and I will cut an edit all those videos of all these years down to 1.5 to 2 hours and show it to them. It would be like a documentary of our life! I can not wait to get started!
